Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand was the theme for the 15 month long Want Disney World Millennium Celebration starting October 1, 1999. While the celebration was throughout Walt Disney World, the center of the celebration was Epcot, with an emphasis on human potential and the possibilities of the future. The celebration included some changes for Epcot including the construction of a giant wand next to Spaceship Earth with "2000" and all new fireworks show "IllumiNations 2000:Reflections of Earth".
