A beautiful and comfortable castle, somewhere in the countryside, in Hungary in the 1930s. The inhabitants of the castle have no idea how to escape their boredom, especially Miss Klári. The two burglars sneaking up on her are just what her courtiers need. They decide not to show their faces, but grant the burglars' every wish.
