"GAMA" follows the story of Ophelia, a young woman who struggles with mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, hallucinations and insomnia. Avoiding confronting her fears, she slowly discovers that she is descending into madness. After ignoring the help of her best friend and psychologist, she has no choice but to trust Alfredo, a co-worker with major temperamental problems. They both meet while attending a party, their connection is instantaneous and Ophelia leans on him to distract herself from her hallucinations. However, Ophelia feels overwhelmed as her hallucinations continue to haunt her. She tries to escape the suffering by committing suicide, but is momentarily stopped by her best friend. Ophelia takes advantage of the slightest distraction to complete her task and cuts her wrists in the bathtub.
