The first world consisted of young people from Ukrainian and Polish cities who came to Polesie in search of ancient songs; they wanted to record and learn them. The second world consisted of rural artists and singers from the Polesie villages of Perebrody and Stari Koni, situated on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.
